How to use aloe at home for medicinal and cosmetic purposes?

The lower leaves of a plant that are at least 3 years old will be enough. Young leaves do not have the same medicinal properties. The leaves are carefully collected from the bottom and used for three hours, because then they lose their medicinal properties. If you need pasta, the upper peel is carefully removed with a sharp knife, and the pulp is ground into a paste in a glass jar. If you need juice, you need to gently squeeze it with your hands. Aloe juice and infusions based on it can be stored in the refrigerator in a dark container for two weeks without losing their beneficial properties. The benefits and harms of aloe juice are, of course, greater, and we have already discussed them above. I just want to point out that ancient healers called aloe “the plant of immortality.” However, it also has contraindications. It is not recommended to use it for: pregnant women; people with intolerance to one of the components contained in aloe vera; with acute diarrhea or acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract; in children under 3 years old; with hemorrhoids; with liver problems; in case of unexplained abdominal pain, it is better not to use it until an accurate diagnosis is made; with chronic heart failure. In addition, it should be noted that all contraindications relate primarily to internal use. In this case, it is best to consult a doctor. There are practically no contraindications for external use. However, it is important to remember that anything in excess is harmful. It is not recommended to transplant and use aloe in unlimited quantities.
